Hi Wine Friends! So this was supposed to be posted Thursday, but as we all know life gets in the way. Lindsey, as I said in the last post, is enjoying some family time in Florida. I (Jackie) had a bachelorette party this weekend where we spent the weekend in an amazing house in Paris, KY with an awesome pool. I am still recovering…. Last week was Pinot Grigio week and we tasted an amazing wine. We definitely give it 4.5 stars!
This tasting was not as organized as previous ones, but the text conversation went as such:
Lindsey: I’m the Pinot is yum yum
Jackie: You are the Pinot?
Lindsey: Grigio lol
Jackie: Dude how drunk are you?
Damn autocorrect gets us every time (and by us she means Lindsey). Lindsey wasn’t drunk at all (so she says….). The Pinot Grigio we picked up at Target, The Collection Pinot Grigio, was delicious! It was crisp, but not dry. This wine was $9.99 and is fruit forward and we both tasted the pear and apple notes. Not going to lie, we picked this bottle because it looked pretty since prior to this Pinot neither of us thought we were Pinot Grigio fans. So either our pallets expanded or we just hadn’t found the right one.
The Collection Pinot Grigio will be a fridge wine meaning we will always have a bottle on hand for when we are craving white. For $9.99 who can beat that! Give it a try and let us know what you think!!
